The studio
A Paris studio that publishes what it builds on.
ISNDEV stands for Intelligent System Network Development. The name is long because it was chosen in 2013 by engineers rather than by a brand agency, and we have never found a good reason to change it.
We are based in Paris and work with product and platform teams across Europe and beyond, in French, English and Spanish. The public repositories are the part of our work anyone can inspect without signing anything first.
Most of the work reaches us in one of three states: a launch date that has stopped moving, a regulator asking a question nobody can answer from the data, or a system everyone is now afraid to change. We are comfortable with all three.
Our engineers come from different industries, and it shows in the questions they ask early. It is why a technical review here tends to surface a compliance problem before the compliance review does.

2013
First public repositories
The GitHub organisation dates from November 2013. Some of what we published then is still in the tree.
2020
ISNDEV becomes a company
The studio is incorporated in Paris as a société par actions simplifiée, and client delivery starts paying for the libraries.
Today
Publisher and consultancy
qb and its modules are maintained every week, and the platforms we deliver run on them. Paris studio, clients in Europe and beyond.
The difference between good and bad software shows up on the worst day, in the hands of someone who did not write it.
How we work
- We prefer small reversible steps. When the honest answer is a rewrite, we say so early, in writing, with what it will cost.
- We measure before we diagnose. The first explanation everyone agrees on is usually wrong, and the database is usually innocent.
- We write for whoever inherits the system. That person is not on the project yet and cannot ask us anything.
